DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) Registration
Operators are about to stop assigning any new sender id / templates to entity that have not registered on the DLT platform. We urge you to get your entity registered as soon as possible to avoid disruption in services.
PFB an excerpt from the circular, we are intimated that now TRAI has issued a direction dated 20 Jan 2020 advising all telecom operators to take actions including the following:
Stop assigning any new SMS and voice headers without registration in the new system Disallow entities to send any commercial communication till they register themselves with TSP
Disallow all Entities from sending any service and transactional messages till they register content template against specific registered header with TSP.
Seek list of existing subscriber’s consent from entities intending to send commercial communication

Entity has to pay INR 5,900/- (inclusive of taxes) as registration fees (Non-refundable) individually for all the operators.
Service Fee (INR 1180/-)
In case a Telemarketer or an entity wishes to register through Xell India, then he would need to pay a service fee of INR 1180/-.
This fee is non-refundable. An acceptable mode of payment would include Cheque/DD.
The on-boarding process begins with Entity/Enterprise registration moving on to Header (Sender ID) registration and Template Registration. We will keep you posted in phase wise manner
